Integrations
Slack, Google Sheets, and Zapier
Send new form submissions to the tools your team already uses
Open a form and select Integrations to connect native integrations, Zapier, or webhooks. Integration availability depends on your plan.
Slack
Select Connect to Slack, approve FormBackend in Slack, then choose the team and channel that should receive new submissions. The Integrations page shows the connected workspace and channel and lets you remove the connection later.
After connecting, submit a test entry and check its event history if no message appears in Slack.
Google Sheets
Select Connect to Google and approve access to the Google account that should own the spreadsheet. FormBackend creates or uses a sheet named FormBackend - FORM NAME and adds a row for each new submission.
Do not rename the generated sheet; FormBackend uses its name to identify where new rows belong.
Zapier
Zapier can use a new FormBackend submission as a trigger for workflows across many third-party services. Select Connect with Zapier, sign in to Zapier, choose FormBackend as the trigger application, and select the form you want to monitor.
Send a sample submission before configuring downstream actions so Zapier can discover the available fields.
Troubleshooting
Open the affected submission and inspect its event history. It records whether FormBackend attempted Slack, Google Sheets, Zapier, or webhook delivery and helps distinguish configuration problems from submission filtering.
