Features
Form rules
Automate spam handling, emails, and redirects based on submitted values
Form rules run after a submission arrives. Open a form and select Rules to create conditions based on its submitted field names and values. Rules are available on supported paid plans.
Rule actions
A rule can:
- Mark a matching submission as spam
- Prevent a matching submission from being marked as spam
- Send an email to a chosen address
- Redirect the submitter to a chosen URL
Conditional owner emails can also be configured from the form’s Notifications tab.
Conditions
Choose the submitted field, an operator, and the value to compare. Available comparisons include equality, inequality, partial matches, empty values, and non-empty values.
For example, a support form with a department field can send billing requests to one address and technical requests to another.
Test rules safely
Submit a test entry containing the fields your rules reference. Open that submission and review its event history to see which rules matched and what actions ran.
Rules use the incoming HTML field name. If you map a field to a friendlier display label, continue to use its original submitted name in rule conditions.
